PECS Posters (Set of 4): These colorful 40.6cm x 50.8cm posters are great visual aids for practitioners! Each depicts a key element for implementing PECS. Create and Wait™ describes 4 simple strategies for creating communicative opportunities across the day. The 4-Step Error Correction Procedure is your visual map for responding to errors in discrimination teaching in Phase III and beyond. Correspondence Checks portrays the steps involved in periodically checking for correct discrimination in Phase IIIB and beyond. The PECS Phases offers support by providing visual cues on how to properly implement each phase within PECS.
Show & Go with Lanyard: Are you teaching someone to respond to visual directions? We have created a set of 10 of the most commonly used directions in a classroom setting. The directions are from our Pics for PECS® collection and are printed on rigid paper, laminated for added durability, and joined on a ring. We include one blank card for you to add a direction or to store tokens. Lanyard included to wear around your neck for quick, always-available access. Lanyard color will vary.Â
Our Pics for PECS® image collection is now available for instant download on your PC! This collection is appropriate for all ages and supports both expressive and receptive AAC systems. Our high-resolution jpg images can be enlarged to full page with no loss of clarity and can be used in any software that supports jpg images. In addition to making pictures for PECS Communication Books, Pics for PECS can be used to create printed communication boards, schedules, literacy activities, visual supports and overlays for speech generating devices. Download includes over 3,400 Pics for PECS images, instructions for use, complete image wordlist, picture dictionary and grids for a range of image sizes. Visual Strategies Tool Kit: This set provides students with a visual reminder of potential reinforcers available for staying on task. Includes the large (15.2cm x 12.1cm) set of 5 Visual Reinforcement Cards, small (10.8cm x 6.4cm) set of 3 Visual Reinforcement Cards, VELCRO® Brand hook and loop VELCOIN® fasteners, 10 Break Cards, 1 Wait Card, 1 Help Card and a supply of tokens. Also included is a downloadable informative brochure outlining how to use the Visual Reinforcement System. (Tokens may vary from those pictured and may present a choking hazard.)
